Extension Wire & Cables
Thermocouple-grade extension wire that preserves accuracy back to the instrument
Extension wire economically carries the signal back to the instrumentation while preserving accuracy, because it's built from matched thermocouple materials. Constructions are available for abrasion, moisture and chemical resistance; shielded versions reject electrical interference; and metal overbraids add mechanical protection. Insulations include PVC, TEFLON® (FEP / TFE / PFA), Kapton, fiberglass, vitreous silica and Q-glass.
Connection Heads
Terminate and protect the sensor — certified for hazardous areas
A connection head terminates the sensor on a terminal block or head-mounted transmitter, and shields the element from environmental and mechanical conditions. Our large-device head also accommodates excess coiled lead wire or larger smart transmitters.
